What is a Royal Caribbean GAP point?
GAP (Group Amenity Program) points are Royal Caribbean's currency for group rate amenities. Each cabin in a group block earns a base allotment of GAP points, which our agency releases to you as onboard credit, gratuities, beverage packages, specialty dining, or cabin category upgrades. Travel Squad Vacations group rates include 2 additional GAP points per cabin on top of the base allotment — typically worth $50 to $200 per person in onboard value.
Are Royal Caribbean group rates cheaper than booking on royalcaribbean.com?
Yes, in nearly every case. Group block rates are negotiated at lower per-person fares than the public website rate, and they include perks (GAP points, additional shipboard credit) that aren't offered on direct bookings. The savings typically range from $100 to $400 per cabin, depending on the sailing and cabin category.
Which Royal Caribbean ships does Travel Squad Vacations have group rates on?
Our current Royal Caribbean group block inventory includes Enchantment of the Seas, Radiance of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas, and Explorer of the Seas across multiple Western and Southern Caribbean sailings from August 2026 through December 2026. We also hand-host two flagship Royal Caribbean sailings: Legend of the Seas (January 9 – 17, 2027 Southern Caribbean) and Utopia of the Seas (December 31, 2026 New Year's Eve Bahamas).
